I have selected our most popular bouquets and arrangements to give you an idea of the quality of our work. When it comes to actually choosing your wedding flowers I prefer to add the personal touch and discuss your choices and options with you, either by telephone or by email. There are so many things to take into consideration ...........The style of your wedding gown, the colour, the Bridesmaids, your height, your size, what your expectations are, the list is endless BUT we are here to guide you and to help make your wedding day stress free.
1/. First impressions! The entrance to St. Mary's Church is perfect for creating the WOW
factor. We have used silk draping, magnificent arrangements on both sides of the palm
trees and giant arrangements on each side of the entrance.
2/. An exquisite bouquet, fully wired using white dendrobium orchids and dodder vine, always
looks elegant. Available all year
3/. This is one of my favourites (actually they all are!) white oriental lillies with xanadu leaves.
A fully wired, very lightweight bouquet...it looks fabulous with any style of dress.
Available all year.
Another version of this bouquet using beautiful pink Oriental Lillies, (the pink may vary as there are three different types we use, depending on when they are available, but they are all very striking.)
4/. Frangipannis, one of the most sought after flowers for weddings. Unfortunately in Port Douglas they are only available from November to February, after this the winds usually blow them off the trees.
This magnificent bouquet is made using pink and white frangipannis, the butterfly was from a butterfly release after the ceremony and this photo was taken at the end of the day! It just kept hanging around! It is a fully wired bouquet and can be made up with or without greenery. The white frangipannis are also very popular.
5/. Our pride and joy.....porcelain gingers...... This magnificent porcelain ginger bouquet is fully wired and just looks stunning.
This one is made rather large, but we can use smaller foliage and smaller gingers to make it look dainty. Available most of the year. Sometimes in the wet season they are hard to get.
This is a smaller version suitable for shorter Brides.
6/. Another design for white oriental lillies, this is a very elegant design and is lovely on
a tall Bride. The tropical foliage is a superb background for the oriental lillies. Available
all year.
7/. The Queen of bouquets. Red torch gingers. This very exotic bouquet is very popular with
Brides, it has a very tropical look and is something very different to the flowers you can buy
away from the tropics. The flowers are seasonal, but are readily available from about May
to November.
8/. Phalaenopsis Orchids. A beautiful exquisite, elegant bouquet, just perfect for that designer
wedding gown. This is a fully wired bouquet and the flowers are available up here from
June until early October.
9/. One of our budget bouquets, these bouquets are made onto a plastic bouquet holder and
are great if you are on a tight budget. This one is made using pink and white oriental lillies
along with seasonal greenery. Available all year. The greenery does change with the
different seasons.
This is another version of the budget bouquet, using white Oriental lillies. Mostly we now use rolled cordyline leaves, they are more suited to our climate.
10/. Pink oriental lillies (Stargazer type!) This is a fully wired magnificent bouquet there are
actually dozens of lily flowers wired into this bouquet to give it that very compact, full look.
Greenery has been used to frame the bouquet. This bouquet is available all year.
